Baltoro Kangri Expedition
Baltoro Kangri is a peak in the Karakoram mountains in Pakistan’s northern province of Gilgit-Baltistan. Baltoro Kangri is a 7,312 meter (or 23,990ft) high mountain that is near the Gasherbrum Massif and Chogolisa Peak 7,665m, and is in the far end of the largest non-polar glacier in the world, the Baltoro Glacier. It is also known as the Golden Throne for its spectacular cones.
The Karakorum Mountain Range is a massive chain of mountains across Pakistan and China that hosts one of the greatest mountains of the world including K2. It is 500km long and 200km wide and connects with Hindukush and Himalaya Mountains at few points. The Range also hosts many different rivers including the Hunza River and the Indus River. It is now home to many different valleys and people across the region including Skardu, Hunza and Gilgit.
The first successful expedition to the summit was carried out by the Tokyo University Alpine Club in 1963. It was led by Seiho Kato.
Baltoro Kangri Expedition is a journey through the Karakorum Mountains of Pakistan with mesmerizing views of the mighty mountains and huge glaciers which are also one of the largest in the world. The services of such a trip include hotel booking, government permits because it is a peak higher than 7000m, domestic flights, chefs, tour guides, visa assistance, porters, camping equipment, daily food, kitchen equipment & tools etc.
